Summary of the week from July 31 to August 6 in Peques and Más

I'm back to tell you the news that we have published in Peques and More, the blog aimed at families with children from five to 12 years. If we end the month of July with a lot of heat, August is leaving us with very high temperatures that make us seek the help of fans, water and internal hydration.

That's why we wanted to remember that Infant feeding during the summer should be based on two fundamental aspects: Hydrate our body well, and prioritize the unique dishes, to avoid heavy digestions. In this regard, Marcos told us how he responded to the latest Skylanders challenge, making the head of Hot Head a very appetizing selection of fruits, surely all participants have enjoyed the beautiful, while benefiting from fresh and refreshing foods. More fruit, and more health: on the one hand we find the campaign to promote the banana of the Canary Islands, delicious and nutritious food where they exist; and on the other, a series of recommendations to keep children's hair healthy, in the face of the aggressions that constitute heat and other external agents typical of summer.

In Peques and Más, we have also echoed the World Breastfeeding Week, also presenting the beautiful photographs of breastfeeding mothers taken by Isa Sanz.

And as usual, they have run through our pages, some entertainment ideas for our readers - dads, moms, and other relatives, who sometimes look for activities to do with their children -. The briefcase of 'Dazzling Experiments', the workshop on Food Justice, or the selection of readings with club music Kirico, are part of our recommendations.

Marcos brought us a fantastic interview with the Infant Education teacher Salomé Recio, in which they talked about promoting classroom blogs, encouraging parents to participate in them.

And he also told us about a television noveltyDid you know that Tadeo Jones has a new educational program on Tele Cinco? And from the new line of Barbie dolls inspired by the Barbie Life in the Dream House series.

I will conclude with a tour of different entries that have alternated these last seven days: a reflection on how the mistakes made by playing chess help; the news of the ban on chemical substances in the manufacture of toys in Spain; Y (returning to the ever present security issue) the reminder that when our children use skateboards or skates, they must also provide protective elements.

And now I say goodbye to you until next August 28, because the next two weeks will be Marcos who comes on time to the appointment, to tell you the weekly summary of Peques and More. See you soon!
