Kubo is a young man who makes a living by telling stories full of fantasy to the inhabitants of the coastal town where he lives, in Japan. His life is calm and a bit monotonous until by accident, Kubo calls a magical spirit and full of evil intentions.
Here the film starts, Kubo has to save his family from that spirit and what triggers in its path and at the same time, Kubo wants to stir up the mystery surrounding his father.
It may be a very complicated undertaking for a child like him or perhaps he will surround himself with friends who help him overcome all these problems and solve them in a positive way for everyone.

The Laika touch
Laika animation studios are making a dent especially in films aimed at children with their stop motion technique.
