A few years ago, Thomas Poulson, a gardener and bird lover, opened a petition to the LEGO department of new ideas for the construction of a new set that would allow building birds. Well, next January and after having passed all the procedures required by the brand will see the light of this project called LEGO BIRDS, the set that will bring nature to the little ones.
Thomas sent several designs of birds from different places, but in the end it was decided that the most common would be chosen and that they could be seen in nature in most places where the mark arrives. After an initial selection three birds were chosen to be included in the SET, the blue jay, The hummingbird and the European robin.

Thanks to the LEGO ideas initiative, numerous projects started by fans of the brand have come to light and, like Thomas, have got enough support to see their dreams come true.
