Claire Koch: the girl who sang carols for her parents in sign language

These days All the mothers and all the fathers help the children in the preparations of the Christmas activities organized by the schools: rehearsal of functions, choreographies to show classmates, solidarity markets in schools, etc.

For the kids our participation is very important, because with it we send them an implicit message that reinforces our confidence in them, and how much we are interested in their little world. But children who go on stage to sing or act in front of parents, not only seek their approval, they also show us their affection in many ways (kisses before starting, greetings from 'above', joy when they discover that we are between the public,… ). Claire Koch (from Tampa Bay in Florida / United States) is five years old and has shown a very nice gesture with her parents that is touring the entire world.

At the same time that he sang with his companions 'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer' and 'Jingle Bells', he used sign language so that Lisa and Thomas Koch, they could 'listen' to the songs, since both are deaf.

It was a surprise for Claire's parents, who did not expect this reaction, and the girl also did very well, because she acted very naturally and very naturally. Not to mention that (as is often the case with the children of deaf parents) he knows this language perfectly.

The mother herself made the recording to make it known. We wanted to share it with you because we believe it is worth taking into account the effort that each of our children makes for us in these dates.
