How to make Oreo stuffed chocolate pumpkins
A few weeks ago I saw these molds to make cookies or chocolates shaped like pumpkins and I thought they would be great for making these pumpkins for Halloween. The only thing that can be more complicated for you to do at home can be find the orange chocolate.
In many online stores and in many specialized stores you will find the Candy Melts of the Wilton brand or similar products. You can also use colored chocolate as I did, or make a mixture of dark chocolate and white chocolate until you get a similar color.
In a bowl we put the chocolate bars, add 8 or 9 drops of sunflower oil so that the molten chocolate is a little more fluid and we put it to melt in the microwave in batches of one minute. Normally with two batches will be enough. Once the chocolate has melted, we beat it well with a spoon so that it does not have bubbles.
We distribute the chocolate in the molds without going over half and then we put the Oreo cookies in the center, squeezing a little so that they submerge. Once they are in place, we cover the cookies with the rest of the orange chocolate and let our pumpkins harden again by putting them in the fridge.
