"My name is Agua", a book in solidarity with childhood

In a few days the presentation of the third story of the Mapendo Collection will take place, "My name is Water", a solidarity book of the Roger Torné Foundation, a beautiful volume written and illustrated by Mabel Piérola.

It is a collection that serves as an element of reflection and fun for adults and children, and the proceeds from its sale are used entirely to finance scholarships for children who have respiratory, allergy or attention problems and whose families have with few financial resources and can benefit from the solidarity programs of the Foundation, Respiro and Airea.

The Roger Torné Foundation is an entity that aims not only to obtain more resources for its social project, but also, and in a main way, to be useful to families so that they have more tools that allow them to protect the health of their children of the influence of environmental factors, which at present can be considered as one of the main routes of risk in children's health.

"My name is Water", which is presented on April 23 with a lot of activities for children on this Day of Book and Sant Jordi, is described in this way so suggestive:

Mabel's illustrations are as poetic as the text and reflect that metaphor of water as an essential element in our life and an element of encounter between civilizations. Some drawings that leave everyone who contemplates them for the first time with their mouths open. "My name is Water" has been extended by the Mallorcan writer Gabriel Janer, who has also captivated us for his generosity and poetic language. A prologue at the height of the text and illustrations of the story ...

"My name is Water" is a solidarity book who wants to excite and sensitize to the little ones the importance of this element while stimulating, thanks to its beauty, the imagination and the creative capacity they have. Sure it will delight the little ones, and also the adults.
