It's amazing how the little girl needs her dad to feel at ease. As soon as the father enters the crib, he relaxes, approaches him and goes to sleep. And it is not that he approaches him in any way: he literally "sticks", like a barnacle, to be in contact with him to the fullest, and perhaps so that he does not "escape".
