Christmas tree with cupcakes

A few days ago that Spanish families have put home Christmas decoration. Most objects are placed in the dining room, as it is the busiest place.

This year, however, it is possible to put a single Christmas tree in the kids room, made with cupcake toppers.

We put it in my house two days ago and I don't know very well how long it will last, because I often hear the noise of a hand passing through the back and forth, which farmer leaves his hand open as he walks to notice the touch of the spikes, but only for the good time we spent hitting lace, it is worth it.

I explain how to do it, because it is very simple:

Materials needed to make the Christmas tree

All we need are cupcake toppers and something with which to glue them to the wall. In my case I used fondants that I bought in a Mercadona, white for muffins and brown, for the trunk, which are for truffles.

The red ones were at home by my wife, a pastry lover, and we took a few.

To glue them to the wall I recommend Blu-tack or similar. It is a kind of bluish putty that serves to fix light things to the wall.

At first we used zeal, but the next day I wanted to check for possible side effects when removing a lace and I observed a dangerous sticky touch on the wall (which I painted a month ago).

If after 24 hours a symbiosis between jealousy and painting began to occur, I do not want to imagine what would happen after a month of continuous contact.

Step by step instructions

Visualize the area where you think the tree should go. I first made a representation on the floor to get the idea of size and layout.

Start putting rounds from top to bottom (or from bottom to top). The number of fathoms is, per line, 1-2-4-6-8-10 plus two or three more fathoms for the trunk.

We glued truffles (browns) inside the white frosts that make up the trunk (the browns are optional, it is also not a plan to buy a package to put two, if then you will not use them for anything else).

And finally we put the red lace (or the color you have or buy) as if they were Christmas balls. You can also cut colored papers with a round shape for this purpose. I don't think anything happens because they are not beautiful.

If you want you can also do a star with silver paper or shiny wrapping paper. We made one, but we didn't like the result and we preferred to leave only the rounds.
