Themed rooms for babies

If you are one of those who spend the whole sexist roll of making a specific room for boys or girls, it is best to choose a theme and turn the whole room into a stage where children can represent a story. The first thing you should keep in mind is that you will be seeing the subject for quite some time, so you have to make sure that you like the decoration of the room and that you choose some furniture in accordance with all standards that we have been giving you throughout this special.

There are many reasons that can lead a parent to choose one more room neutral for babies, but the truth is that it seems to me the best option when they have to share a room with another little brother or simply not to fall into the topics. If you do not usually go over budget, ideally choose a theme that is not too much of babies, like animals, letters or shapes and colors, and so the room will grow with the little one.

The elements that would change in a thematic room are the bed, the wall painting, the murals, the furniture and the posters and photos. I propose several alternatives, so that you choose the one that best suits your style.

  • In the jungle: Your little one is Tarzan and all kinds of funny animals are waiting for him in his room. Paint the walls green and add fun details like stuffed animals of tigers or elephants. You can also try some decorative vinyl that reproduces bamboo furniture palm trees that give it a more exotic look.
  • The far west: Although a priori it may seem like another topic for boys, I assure you that girls can also find the fun point. Simply paint the walls with a ocher or directly yellow tone and arrange a door like the ones at the entrances of the Faro Saloons. As soon as you search, you will find practical solutions that adapt to your theme, such as this coat rack that is a tie.

  • Under the sea: It is one of the simplest topics. Simply paint the walls blue and fill them with marine objects. Remember that the typical sailor knot box ceased to be fashionable in the 80's and take the opportunity to put stars and seahorses on the walls. Fish, or even a compass on the roof like the one you see in the image above can be the key to setting the room of the king of the house.
  • Cartoon: It is increasingly fashionable to dedicate the room to a cartoon character. Lately the one who hits the strongest is Winnie the Pooh along with Garfield, so do not miss the opportunity because of both characters it is easy to get merchandising that will be perfect in any children's room.
