Magi yes or no?

Christmas parties are approaching and some parents of young children, who still do not know much about the subject, we begin to doubt this issue.

I remember living those moments with great enthusiasm, I remember that I hardly slept waiting for the gifts, the mornings surrounded by papers and toys, the "Come on, you have to eat!" of my mother and I remember it with love.

However, I remember when I learned the truth and felt at the center of a social conspiracy in which I was the victim and the other accomplices of deception. I wished I had always known and didn't understand how could they have lied to me that way.

In my wife's house came the uncle, which is a Catalan tradition that takes place on Christmas Eve, they also celebrated Kings Day but they (she and her sister) always knew the truth because their parents never created that fantasy, and He always explains to me how happy he has been knowing the truth and how much they both enjoyed waiting for their gifts and putting them also gifts for their parents.

And I go there with doubts and that's why I wanted to write this post, to see what people think about it.

My childish part tells me that yes, that the Kings are magical, they are all illusion and that children live and have to live surrounded by fantasy.

My rational part tells me that no, that it is a lie that I will end up discovering and that I would not like to live it as I lived it. He also tells me that if my son knows the truth, he will soon be able to participate in the game and give us gifts by leaving them prepared for the next day as my wife and sister-in-law did and also waiting for the gifts with enthusiasm, but knowing where they come from.

As I say, there I am, in doubt ... opinions?
