Increasing awareness is being gained about the need for children to learn other languages, although second language classes are not mandatory until the child turns 6 and the elementary stage begins, many schools begin to advance the teaching of a second language from 4 years of age. The objective to be fulfilled is a greater competence in another language since its first years of training taking advantage of the learning capacity that children have.
In the case of the Aragonese community, most of the schools have advanced the second language classes during these last two years, so in the second of children they usually start in English, however, the plans are to advance the classes to start impart them when children are 3 years old.
