The controversial case of Juana Rivas has had an end today that was certainly not expected for the mother. After the trial that was held ten days ago, the judge's sentence condemns Juana Rivas to five years in prison for the crime of child abduction (two and a half for each of the minors) and six years of disqualification to exercise parental rights of their children.
In addition, he is sentenced to pay compensation of 30,000 euros for moral and material damage to his ex-husband, Francesco Arcuri, and the payment of all costs of the trial.
