Ten myths about raising babies that can worry us

Yesterday an article appeared in the digital edition of the Argentine newspaper El Clarín, which responds to Ten popular myths or beliefs about raising babies. Some of them or propagably several, surely you were disturbed if you are a father, either because a friend, grandmother or aunt told you or because you simply heard him at some point.

  • Cry to get them in their arms
  • The tit doesn't feed him
  • Eat every 3 hours
  • Raise it in your arms, yes or no?
  • He gets used to it if he is spoiled costingly
  • Crying is good for you
  • Just eat and sleep
  • He is small and does not understand
  • You must sleep only in your crib
  • The baby can save a couple in crisis None has any foundation, the pampering and affection that we can lavish on our children will never be too much, feeling loved is a need of the human being.

As for feeding, breastfeeding should be on demand and little by little the same anger will set a pace. And there is no better food for your child than breast milk.

About letting him cry or sleep or not with the baby, there are conflicting opinions, for my part I am not in favor of letting the baby cry although I understand that crying a little will not hurt him and I think that the colecho has its benefits.
