After the success achieved last year, tomorrow will be held again music concert performed by toys by the Metropolitan Orchestra of Madrid and the Talía Choir.
The National Autoditorio will be filled again of colors and music, inviting the public to a very fun experience in which everyone will recover the desire to play, while delighting in the creations of Carl Orf (composer who pays tribute) There will also be surprises, because it has reached our ears that some popular characters for children will be dedicated to run around the instruments. Otherwise: unique timbres that will come out of toys that come alive, pieces of diverse musical styles, and musicians who play tiny instruments (Although judging by their joy, they do not feel at all upset).
Instruments specially built for the concert, toy instruments, and toys that are not instruments used as such will sound
The instruments invented for the occasion constitute a tribute and a souvenir to a great composer of the twentieth century who was very important in musical pedagogy: Carl Orf (1895-1982). Taking as a starting point the instruments of his teaching method instruments with very striking names have been created: patinórgano, hula tam, bicilófono, trailerófono, maracagol and percukitchen. All of them have been built on toys and will sound throughout the entire concert.
There will be more than 130 people among instrumentalists and singers, who will play and sing ... with toys, and will do so under the baton of Silvia Sanz. It will be tomorrow at 11.30 in the National Auditorium.
